How ALTO collects, uses and protects the personal data handled by this website.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
This is a translation for convenience. If it differs from the Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Who we are
ALTO, registered under CNPJ 31.175.602/0001-03, is responsible for processing the personal data collected by this institutional website. The site exists to present our solutions, projects and ways to get in touch, and the contact form is the official channel for any request about privacy and personal data.
2. Data collected by the form
When you fill in the contact form, we may collect: name, email, phone number (when provided — this field is optional and only requested if you say we may contact you by phone), subject and the content of the message.
3. Purposes
The data sent through the form may be used to:
- identify who got in touch;
- answer the request;
- review quote requests;
- talk about projects;
- handle requests related to privacy and personal data;
- keep records needed for security and to defend rights, when applicable.
We do not use form data to send marketing, newsletters or promotional campaigns.
4. Browsing data
While you browse the site, the third-party tools installed on it (Google Analytics and Google AdSense, described in the following sections) may collect data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, where the visit came from, date and time, browsing events and cookie identifiers — always subject to your cookie preferences.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies only load with your permission, given in this site's cookie manager; refusing does not stop you from using the site. Google may process and transfer the collected data internationally, under its own policies. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Google AdSense
This site uses, or intends to use, advertising provided by Google (Google AdSense). Ads may use cookies and identifiers, with personalized or non-personalized advertising depending on your choice in the cookie manager; refusing does not block the site's institutional content. Ad technology vendors may take part in the processing, and data may be processed or transferred internationally. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and safety.google/privacy/ads-and-data.
7. Cookies
We use three categories of cookies, managed through the preferences manager you can open at any time from the site footer:
- Necessary — this site's own (1st-party), used to remember your cookie choice. Stored locally in your browser under the key
alto:cookie-consent, with no tracking purpose. They cannot be turned off. - Analytics — cookies set by Google Analytics (e.g.
_ga,_ga_*); see Google's official documentation for the full list and exact duration. Off by default. - Advertising — cookies such as
__gads,__gpiandIDE, typically used by Google's advertising technologies; see Google's official documentation for the full list and exact duration. Off by default.
8. Sharing
The data handled by this site may be shared with the following providers, to the extent needed for it to work:
- Netlify — website hosting;
- Piper's Office (our own management system) — organizing the messages received through the contact form;
- Google Analytics — analysis of how the site is used;
- Google AdSense — showing and measuring ads.
9. Storage and retention
Messages sent through the contact form are stored in Piper's Office, our own management system. Data sent through the contact form is kept for up to 12 months after the last contact. This is a policy declared by this site; there is not yet an automated process that deletes data after that period. Data may be kept longer when needed to meet a legal obligation or to exercise rights.
10. Security
ALTO takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.
11. Your rights
You may request, where applicable: confirmation of processing, access, correction, information about sharing, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent and review of your cookie preferences.
To request information, access, correction or deletion of personal data, use the contact form.
12. External links
This site may contain links to external services, which have their own privacy policies, independent of this one.
13. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. It was last updated on September 4, 2026.
